In the News
For more than 40 years, Kaiser Permanente Northwest has been helping keep our members thriving with healthy smiles and dental care that connects seamlessly to their health plans. Prevention is at the core of our philosophy, and we want to help you achieve and maintain a healthy smile. We combine dental, medical, pharmacy, and insurance services to help make health care simpler and more convenient.
Integrated care to help support your total health
Did you know that Kaiser Permanente members with both medical and dental coverage weigh less, smoke less, and visit the emergency department less often?1 Our electronic health record system helps our doctors and dentists work closely together to help prevent illness, help manage chronic conditions, and help you stay healthy.

Many services under one roof
We have 21 convenient locations, open 7 days a week, as far south as Eugene, Oregon, and as far north as Longview, Washington. With many of our dental offices located in or near our medical offices, it can be faster and easier to take care of your total health in one stop. You can save time by taking care of minor medical needs, like flu shots or other vaccinations, during your dental appointment.2
Your care, your way
Members can take advantage of our virtual dentistry options, like email, phone visits, and video visits.3,4,5 Virtual dental visits let you talk to your care team about your dental symptoms and dental history and get advice for next steps — all without leaving your home. Plus, virtual dental care comes with no copay and is fully integrated with your entire care team and electronic health record.

Our dental team goes the extra mile
Our Oregon and Southwest Washington dental group has more than 160 pediatric dentists, orthodontists, periodontists, oral surgeons, endodontists, and prosthodontists — and you can choose to see any of them. This helps make specialist referrals and teamwork easier.
Quality care for better outcomes
We have been independently recognized for more than 25 years as a leader in providing high-quality, patient-centered, comprehensive care.6 In fact, in 2019, 95% of our dental members said they would recommend our Dental Program to their family and friends.7
